Thank you for not forgetting about homeless pets and for urging people to check out the pups. Hopefully, people will opt to adopt. Why buy when you can rescue a pet?
I think it is great that you promote the needs of a local animal shelter. I think these are often forgotten when couponers are checking out the weekly deals at their local stores. I have 5 cats and 2 dogs which all came from local shelters. I know they are in constant need of various donations at the shelters so even though I can't always donate extra food, I can check their 'wish list' and see if there is anything I can donate (usually bath towels, blankets, newspaper). Most shelters will post a wish list online, otherwise a quick call to the shelter will let you know what else they need.
