Saturday May 8th Events - Athens

Wow! Where did this week go?  I can't believe it's already Thursday!  Time to post this weekend's events!

Saturday starting at 6:30 pm, you can go to Oconee Veteran's Park for a family fun event.  There will be all sorts of activities and at 8:45, there is going to be a  movie in the park!  This week is Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.  This is a great movie!  I wasn't sure where Oconee Veteran's Park is, so if you need directions, just CLICK HERE.  There was a cute little poster in ChickFila that told about this fun event. 

Speaking of ChickFilA - the one on Atlanta Hwy, Athens, will be having kids club on Saturday as well.  The Kids Club is a drop-in event from 11-2.  They will be making edible dirt cups and making Mother's Day presents.

At Lowes, from 10-11, the kids can make a Trellis Planter.  Go HERE to sign up and for more info.
