Clarifying Coupons!

After many questions, I want to clarify coupons a little.

At Publix, you can use ONE store coupon and ONE manufacturer coupon.  So when you see this:

Pillsbury Toaster Strudel Pastries, Assorted Varieties, 6 ct, 11.5 oz box, BOGO $2.19

-$.40/2 Pillsbury Toaster Strudel Pastries, Any 2 – 03-07-10 SS
-$.35/1; $.55/1 Pillsbury Toaster Strudel Pastries, Any – 02-07-10 SS
-$1/2; $.35/1; $.75/3; $.55/2 Pillsbury Toaster Strudel Pastries, Any – 03-07-10 SS
-$1/1 Toaster Strudel PRINT
-$.55/1 Toaster Strudel PRINT

You can only use ONE coupon since there are no publix store coupons listed.  You CANNOT use a $1/1 and a $.55/1 coupon because they are BOTH manufacturer coupons.  The computers will beep and you could get a reputation as being a bad couponer.

*IF* there was a publix coupon, you could "stack" the coupons or use both coupons.  Like in this one:

Shout Laundry Stain Remover With Trigger, 22 oz bot, BOGO $2.99

-$1/2 ; $.55/1 Shout Laundry Product, Any – 03-21-10 SS
-$1/1 Shout Product, Any (Publix Coupon) – There’s Value in the Family (Publix Coupon)

There is a PUBLIX coupon and a MANUFACTURER coupon, so you CAN use both!  When in doubt, look on the coupon to see which it is, or ask at the service desk.

Let me know if you have any other questions :-)
